Special Needs Children

Child with Cleft PaleteWhen children are placed in the care of the agency in Korea some have correctable and/or noncorrectable conditions. Examples of such handicaps are: cleft palate, missing or webbed fingers or toes, club feet, hearing and/or sight loss and a possibility of genetic health conditions which may not be obvious in early months or years of life.

Some children cannot be placed due to severe or noncorrectable conditions. Love the Children helps to support treatment, training and schooling to the level of the individual child. This has also been aided by the construction of schools for the children remaining in Korea.

Here are before and after pictures of a cleft palate. Note enough time has passed for healing to be completed.

Please use the above button to give an online donation. We prefer MasterCard or Visa as they send the full amount of the donation to us. Please note: We use a nonprofit service to process our credit card transactions. LIC ORG is the name that will appear on your credit card statement - not Love the Children. Using a 3rd party helps us keep our costs low and allows us to spend more time and money on our programs!
