Become A Saver

We strongly urge you to save everything possible concerning your adoption for your child's future possibly questioning years.

Store a copy of the referral pictures, the referral study, the clothes worn when the child reaches you, especially the shoes, the bottle from the plane. Put all legal documents, passports, naturalization cards, first "green", etc. in an air tight dry container (perhaps a large five gallon aluminum storage can).

These will be treasures in the future if not for the adoptee then for his or her spouse. Show the child the past you did not share has value to you because it is a part of him or her.
