Sadly, Love the Children has ceased adoption services and is discontinuing operation. We take great pride in having placed over 4,000 children in loving homes and having helped complete so many families.

The Orphans’ Court of Bucks County, Pennsylvania has agreed to take custody of all our adoption records and all records have now been transferred to them. They are located in the Bucks County Courthouse, 55 E. Court Street, Doylestown, PA 18901, telephone (215) 348-6271.   Email: Orphanscourt@co.bucks.pa.us

Most of the information that is in our files is the same information that you would have received at the time of the adoption process, and since there is no information in the files that would enable a search for biological family members, we recommend that you contact Eastern Social Welfare Society, Inc. directly if at some time you wish to initiate a birth search.  They can be reached at Post Adoption Service Center, Eastern Social Welfare Society, Inc. 493 Changchondong, Seodaemungu, Seoul, Korea 120-836.  E-mail:  postadoption@eastern.or.kr.  Fax 82-2-324-3985.  If you wish to keep your contact information current with Eastern, you can email them directly with any address changes. You can also find information for initiating a birth search at the website established by the South Korean Ministry of Health and Welfare www.kcare.or.kr (click on “English” at the top).

We greatly appreciate the very generous support given to us and the children of Korea by our loyal families through the years.  To those families who are still sending us donations we ask that you no longer do so as we will not be able to accept them. Many of our families have stayed in contact with us sending pictures and letters of their children’s progress.  We have enjoyed receiving each of them.  Our fondest memories, however, will always be of the babies we matched with their eager parents who anxiously awaited their arrival and thought that day would never come.  We know how hard it was, and the best part of our job was making the call to tell you that your child was arriving.  Sadly, we have made our last call.

We wish all our families the best in the future.

                                                                        Sincerely,

                                                                        Love the Children
